Crawlspace Solutions

Sump Pumps

Sump Pump A sump pump system collects and removes groundwater that enters—or accumulatesm beneath—a crawlspace encapsulation liner. Even after sealing the walls and floor, water can still come through the soil, foundation joints, or perimeter drain system. The sump basin provides a controlled low point where that water can collect. When the water reaches a set level, a sump pump automatically sends it away from the foundation through a discharge line. This helps prevent standing water, protects the encapsulation liner, and keeps the crawlspace consistently dry.

Vapor Barrier

Vapor Barrier A vapor barrier is a durable moisture-resistant liner installed over the crawlspace floor and, when needed, extended up the foundation walls. It limits water vapor from moving through the soil and into the crawlspace air. Even when there is no visible standing water, damp soil can release moisture that raises humidity levels. A vapor barrier helps control that moisture and supports a drier, cleaner crawlspace environment.

Dehumidifier

Dehumidifier A crawlspace dehumidifier removes excess moisture from the air and helps maintain a stable humidity level after the space has been sealed and encapsulated. By continuously drawing in damp air, removing the moisture, and circulating drier air, it helps keep the crawlspace environment dry. A controlled, low humidity environment protects your floor joists, beams, insulation and more from mold and mildew.
